Last week, Swedish international manager Janne Andersson announced that right-back Emil Krafth would not be available for Sweden’s two Euro qualifiers against Romania and the Faroe Islands next week.
Krafth’s partner is due to give birth imminently so the Swede made himself unavailable for selection. Krafth is not the only international that will miss out on the Euro qualifiers next week.
Newcastle center-back Fabian Schar will also not feature for Switzerland’s two Euro Qualifiers due to his knee injury.

The 27-year-old has missed the last three games for Newcastle with what was reported to be a minor knee problem.
Schar has 52 caps for Switzerland and is one of their preeminent players. He has started all but 1 of their Euro qualifiers. Fabian missed the March 26th match against Denmark due to a concussion he had suffered a few days earlier at Georgia.
Switzerland did not play well against Denmark without Schar as they conceded 3 goals at home and only managed a draw.
The Swiss will play Georgia next Friday before traveling to face Gibraltar on the following Monday. They are currently third in Group D on 11 points behind Ciaran Clark’s Republic of Ireland and Denmark, who both have 12 points.
