I had exhaustive blood tests and a hormone injection last week – it was my quarterly check up for my cancer.
The stage four prostate cancer shows some signs of spreading since the PSA count is now measurable and on the rise.
I am due to have a full body scan and several CAT scans in late November, so at that time we can better ascertain whether the cancer is starting to spread.
But on the positive side of things – I am extremely upbeat and thankful for the effectiveness of my treatment over the last 32 months.
I was diagnosed with stage four cancer back in early January, 2017 after the cancer had been in remission for six years.
My oncologist Dr. Dhruva and the nurses at the Rex Cancer Center here in Raleigh, North Carolina have been fantastic and all the credit goes to them.
