It’s a surprise start for Yoshinori Muto who looks like he will partner Joelinton upfront. We are not too sure of the formation though it definitely looks like it will be a back four unless Bruce is using Christian Atsu as a left wing-back. This could be a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 with Joelinton playing behind Muto. We expected Emil Krafth to be drafted back into the side and Sean Longstaff is back after missing the last two games.
Andy Carroll and Allan Saint-Maximin again start from the bench. The big surprise is that Jetro Willems has not made the match-day squad.

As expected, Dennis Praet comes in for the injured James Maddison. Former Magpie Ayoze Perez gets his second start against Newcastle since leaving this summer.
Let’s hope for a reaction similar to the one at Tottenham. We expect the lads to play much better today. The return of Sean Longstaff could make all the difference.
Howay The Lads!
