“Happy for him should walk straight into our team” – These Newcastle fans are pleased to see familiar face back

“Great to have you back” – A lot of Newcastle United fans are thrilled to see Florian Lejeune back training with the first team after recovering from a horrific knee injury.

The Frenchman suffered the injury in April and it was expected to keep him out of action for a year but just five months later and Lejeune is back training, and he looked delighted to be back.

The 27-year-old confirmed that he should be ready for selection in October – so he may well be on the bench for the Toon’s game with Manchester United.

It has not been a good week for Newcastle after a dreadful performance at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, but the sight of Lejeune should raise some spirits on Tyneside.

These Newcastle supporters are buzzing to see Lejeune back training.

Other Toon fans, however, believe that Mike Ashley will now sell him because he is back to full fitness.
