Five Players Out On Loan Get Appearances On Saturday With Another Clean Sheet For Woodman

It’s another clean sheet for Freddie Woodman as Swansea drew 0-0 at Bristol City. Swansea remain second in the table as they fail to take advantage of Leeds drawing at home to Derby. It’s four clean sheets in eight starts for Freddie.

Jacob Murphy started on the bench as Sheffield Wednesday faced former Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and Fulham at home. Jacob came on in the 59th minute as Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1. Murphy has been under fire a bit lately for his poor form.

Dan Barlaser did not feature for Rotherham in their 0-0 draw at home against Shrewsbury. Dan has seemingly lost his place to Jamie Lindsay since being pulled at half-time against Tranmere. In the four matches since, Dan has only played 15 minutes of football.

Central defender Kelland Watts had his string of eight straight starts for Stevenage snapped today at Forest Green. He came on as a 70th minute substitute in a 0-0 draw. It was a decent result for last place Stevenage at fifth place Forest Green.

Elias Sorensen managed just a paltry eight minutes in Carlisle’s 3-1 loss at Bradford City. We suppose it’s an improvement from the last two matches where he did not feature at all. This is disappointing and the Chronicle recently reported that Newcastle are monitoring the situation with Elias.

Liam Gibson made his third straight start for Grimsby Town at home against Macclesfield. The 6’1″ Gibson was played at center-back as he helped his team to a 1-0 win. Liam seems to have worked his way back into the Mariners side after a pre-season injury.

Goalkeeper Nathan Harker was an unused substitute at Curzon Ashton in second round of FA Cup qualifying. The game ended in a 4-4 draw.

Rolando Aarons is still out injured for Wycombe Wanderers and did not feature in their 1-0 win against Portsmouth.
