Steve Bruce Confirms Triple Boost For Brighton And Indicates New Role For Joelinton

Steve Bruce has some good news this morning for the Newcastle faithful. He has confirmed that Andy Carroll and Allan Saint-Maximin are likely to be available for Brighton on Saturday. This is the injury update Steve has given per BBC Newcastle’s Matthew Raisbeck.

Lee Ryder has tweeted an update on Sean Longstaff who was missing from training yesterday. He will miss his second straight match as Brighton is too soon for the midfielder.

The Athletic’s Chris Waugh has tweeted some very intriguing news in that Steve Bruce sees a role for Joelinton on the left so that both he and Andy can play together.

This is some excellent news minus the Longstaff injury of course. We hope the club is absolutely certain that Carroll and Saint-Maximin are ready to go. We would expect both to start from the bench tomorrow but could feature at some point.
