Dan Barlaser, unfortunately, did not feature for Rotherham at Sunderland tonight. Though, the game ended 1-1 in what Sunderland will see as two points lost. So we are sure that Dan had some influence on his teammates even if it was from the bench.

Elias Sorensen did not get on the pitch again in Carlisle’s 0-0 draw at home to Forest Green. This is turning into another disappointing loan spell for the youngster who will turn 20 years old tomorrow. He has played just 113 minutes through four appearances. In his only start at Scunthorpe, he was pulled at half-time. He has now not featured in Carlisle’s last two matches.

Liam Gibson made his second straight start at Salford City this evening. The Mariners lost the match 1-0 but Liam has played his first full match in the league. This is good progress for Liam who has struggled to get into the Grimsby side since returning from a pre-season injury.
