His loan signing on Monday caused quite a stir.

Rolando’s move to League One shows a commitment to playing football which should serve him well. He will hope to show that he is a class above this level of football. Since his move is only until January, if Rolando can put in consistent and dominant performances, his chances of landing a permanent deal in the winter or summer will be greatly improved.
He has a contract with Newcastle until 2021 but it’s likely his chances to stay a Magpie have passed. However, at just 23, he still has the opportunity get his career back on track. This move to Wycombe is the first step. If he can stay fit and put in top performances, then January could open some new doors for him.
Hopefully while he’s down there he can knock in some goals against Sunderland on October 19th and January 11th, which will be his final game for Wycombe.
Wycombe host Lincoln City tomorrow in matchday 7 of the League One campaign. They currently lie in fifth place just 2 points behind leaders Ipswich.
