Jacob Murphy started his fourth straight league match for Sheffield Wednesday at Preston this afternoon. It wasn’t a good outing for the winger as he was pulled at the half, with Fernando Forestieri coming on in his place. Sheffield Wednesday ended up losing 2-1 at Deepdale.

Kelland Watts made his third start in a week in Stevenage’s 0-0 draw at Mansfield. Stevenage have only conceded one goal since Watts joined the club. They had previously allowed 5 goals in the three games preceding his arrival, one of which was a cup match.

Elias Sorensen made his second appearance as a second half substitute for Carlisle United at home to Salford City. He came on in the 59th minute to replace fellow loan signing Olufela Olomola who opened the scoring for Carlisle this afternoon. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Nathan Harker got another start for Lee Clark’s Blyth Spartans today. He kept a clean sheet as Blyth drew 0-0 at Bradford PA to secure their first point of the season.
