Freddie Woodman is making quite the impression at Swansea so far this season. The 22-year-old has made some big saves as Swansea have started the season unbeaten after four games. Freddie has started all four of those league games and has really endeared himself to the Swansea fans.
Woodman extended his current contract with Newcastle one year to 2021 before going on loan earlier this month. We hope Newcastle will make it a priority to get him signed on a long-term deal. If he continues to progress, he could become our goalkeeper of the future.
This is what some of the Swansea fans had to say about Freddie’s performance at QPR last night:
Freddie woodman is a hero

Love that @SwansOfficial. QPR commentator was the most biased and boring bloke I’ve ever heard ?? we have to sign Freddie woodman on a permanent he’s unreal. Stevie Cooper is class just hope he doesn’t do a potter #uppaswans #QPRSWA

Classic away performance from Swansea. Resilient and clinical. Woodman’s a terrific shot-stopper and what an impact from Garrick on his league debut to win the decisive penalty.

His name is Freddie Woodman he plays in front of goal,
Left footed or right footed our keeper saves it all.Hit it from the penalty spot and watch him make a save,

In Woodman, Rodon, Grimes and Borja I think we have the best ‘keeper, center half, centre mid and striker in the league. If Ayew had a position he’d probably be best in it too. #swans
