Newcastle will face Tim Krul and Norwich City this Saturday at Carrow Road in a match of growing importance for Steve Bruce and the lads. A win will mean not only three points, but will be the first taste of victory at Newcastle for Steve Bruce and our new signings.
We have faith that the team can put the disappointment of last week behind them and get a needed result on Saturday. It’s bound to be an exciting game as Daniel Farke has vowed to bring his attacking style with him from the Championship. It did not work too well at Anfield last Friday but they did have some decent performances.
Tim Krul helped to keep Liverpool to only the four goals while Finnish striker Teemu Pukki was able to open his Premier League account with a nice goal. Norwich City will also be motivated in front of their home crowd after three years away from the Premier League.
We will see how Steve Bruce approaches this match as it is a little tricky so early in the season. There is pressure on him to make it work at Newcastle and a win at Norwich would be a timely result for him.
Let’s hope the Magpies triumph over the Canaries in this one.
