In an exclusive report, Get French Football News are reporting that sources have contracted them to say contract talks between Stanley N’Soki and Newcastle United are breaking down.

The outlet is still reporting that a £9.8m has been accepted by PSG but if that is true then why is he in the squad for tomorrow’s friendly against Sydney FC.
But it appears that the player was very excited to join Newcastle after contact with the scouting team but the subsequent contract negotiations have left the player disappointed. The report characterizes the contract offers as “low-ball”.
It also seems that talks have ended for the time being and will not resume until Newcastle significantly increase the terms offered to the player.
If this is true we have to wonder how much was offered as Newcastle are generally good with contracts but horrendous with fees.
Well, at this point we have no idea where Newcastle stand on any incoming first-team players at the moment. But we do have an idea of their standard of competence at getting deals done. It is a very low standard.
